Commercial Collection Services

We collect mixed plastic waste, film, rigid plastics, and packaging from businesses throughout Uckfield, Lewes, Brighton, Tunbridge Wells, and surrounding areas. Our professional drivers operate clean, well-maintained vehicles and provide proper waste transfer documentation for full compliance.

Collection Areas: East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent borders including Crowborough, Heathfield, Wadhurst, and extending to Sevenoaks.

• 240L wheelie bin (weekly) £18.00 per lift
• 1,100L front-end loader (weekly) £35.00 per lift
• Roll-on-roll-off container (open top, 20yd) £150.00 per load
• Roll-on-roll-off container (open top, 40yd) £250.00 per load
• Mini skip (4yd, small loads) £60.00 per load

Plastic Sorting & Processing

Our manual and mechanical sorting operations separate polymers by type (PET, HDPE, PP, PS, LDPE) and colour grade. Advanced shredding, washing, and granulation equipment produces clean flake or regrind ready for remanufacturing.

Processing Capabilities:

• Manual contamination removal and sorting
• Optical polymer identification
• Shredding to 8-12mm flake size
• Hot wash cycles with water recycling
• Density separation for multi-layer materials
• Final granulation to customer specifications

All processing water is recycled on-site through our closed-loop system, minimizing environmental impact. Quality control testing ensures consistent polymer purity and contamination levels below 2%.

Accepted Materials: Packaging films, bottles, containers, crates, pipes, automotive plastics, and agricultural waste (non-hazardous only).

Supply of Reprocessed Materials

We supply recycled plastic flake, granules, and regrind to manufacturers, injection moulders, and compounders across the UK. All materials come with comprehensive quality certificates and full traceability documentation from source collection.

• HDPE regrind (natural/mixed colour) £180.00 per tonne
• LDPE granulate (film grade) £210.00 per tonne
• Mixed PP flake (automotive grade) £165.00 per tonne
• PET flake (clear, food grade) £245.00 per tonne
• Mixed plastics bales (low grade) £85.00 per tonne

Minimum Order: 1 tonne per material type. Bulk discounts available for 25+ tonne orders.

Delivery: Available throughout the South East region. Delivery charges calculated based on distance and load size. Collection from our Piltdown facility is available during business hours.

All materials meet relevant British and European standards for recycled content. We provide material safety data sheets (MSDS) and processing recommendations for each product.

Waste Audits & Compliance Support

Our environmental compliance team conducts thorough on-site waste stream analysis to identify recycling opportunities, reduce disposal costs, and ensure regulatory compliance. We provide detailed reports and ongoing support for Environment Agency requirements.

Audit Services Include:

Pricing: On-site waste audit (up to 2 hours): £150.00 flat fee. Extended audits and ongoing compliance support available on quotation.

Our team helps clients navigate complex regulations including Environmental Protection Act 1990, Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011, and UK REACH requirements. We maintain current waste carrier licences and provide all necessary transfer documentation.
