Our Story
From a small farm operation to the South East's trusted plastic recycling partner
BORN AGAIN PLASTICS RECYCLING LTD
Our journey started in 2009 as a small agricultural waste operation on farmland at Piltdown, East Sussex. It grew from Mikolaj Krzysztof's vision to tackle the growing plastic waste problem in rural Sussex into a full-scale recycling facility serving businesses and local authorities across the South East.
In 2015, we formally incorporated as BORN AGAIN PLASTICS RECYCLING LTD (Company Registration: 05764216). We expanded from the original barn-based sorting facility to a purpose-built warehouse complex capable of processing over 125 tonnes of plastic waste weekly.
The name change from our original sole trader operation reflected our commitment to giving discarded plastics a second life. Located at The Warehouse, Oak Ferrars Farm in Piltdown, our facility is more than just a business—it's a testament to sustainable resource management rooted in the Sussex countryside.
Today, we hold a full Environmental Permit from the Environment Agency (Permit Ref: EPR/HB1234XX) and have built a reputation for transparent operations, regulatory compliance, and genuine commitment to the circular economy. We're proud to serve the Wealden District, supporting local businesses from the South Downs to the Kent border.
